What are Folx Saying About Devyn?

Devyn Stone is not only the quintessential educator, but also an asset to the community at-large. He infuses passion, competency, and professionalism into every space that he enters and every endeavor that he takes on. His platform PK has become one of my go-to resources for kink education. Its content is always fresh, consistent, and accessible, and I always walk away with more gems than what the class description(s) may have slated. Finally, on top of teaching, coaching, producing, hosting, advocating, trailblazing, and human-ing, Devyn somehow manages to function as a reliable source of guidance & support for budding educators like myself. His series on becoming a kink educator is truly one-of-a-kind - I have not seen anything like it offered on any other platform EVER. He truly embodies “each one, teach one”, and does so selflessly and with tremendous grace.

About "Pronouns & Acronyms & Concepts, Oh My!' Class

"I was really impressed by how much info you covered in a very efficient manner. You were extremely inclusive and open minded, but still were able to be clear and concise. I found it very helpful.... I have been to a number of online kink workshops since Covid hit and they all have been great, but some can become long and clunky due to the vastness of options. I really found yours stood out to me in terms of the efficiency without losing any of the inclusiveness."

"This class is about the importance of getting to know people before you play with them, and about how each human being is different. This class makes kink about authentic human interaction instead of something "dirty", and I love that. I think that one can use these people skills for non-kink purposes as well, and that's really great."

About "A is for Authority: The ABC's of Authority Transfer" Class

What specific problem did this class help you overcome?
"Worrying that my traumatic background would need to be completely overcome/resolved before I can enter a "healthy" power dynamic. About "Passing Wisdom On: A BDSM Educator Primer" Intensive

What specific problem did this class help you overcome?
I don't know if I can necessarily call this a problem; I just learned that even when I teach a 90-minute class, there's still a lot of preparation and travel time that needs to be taken into consideration. I think that helped to give me a better idea of how much I should charge.

If you were to recommend this class to others, what would you say?
There's so much I could say, because I learned so much today; but to keep it short, I would say that it's an all-day class that pretty much tells you everything you need to know to be a presenter, or improve your presentation skills. I just wish this had been available when I first became a presenter. Or if it was available in 2017, I wish I had known about it!

How would you describe the value of this class?
The class covered so much! And even though it was an all-day class, I thought the day went by really quickly because there was so much to learn.

Why would you recommend Devyn Stone to others?
Because Devyn is so experienced; plus, I was able to learn from both of his good and bad experiences. In fact, I think I probably learned more from his negative experiences! Plus, I appreciated Devyn's vulnerability. Also, not only did Devyn help me build my confidence, but I'm sure that several other participants could say the same thing.

About "Passing Wisdom On: A BDSM Educator Primer" Intensive

What specific problem did this class help you overcome?
This class helped me learn about how to get started with educating and everything that encompasses that. I had no idea how one would break into that area or what all goes into creating and teaching classes. As well as some of the challenges and roadblocks that one may encounter.

If you were to recommend this class to others, what would you say?
I would say this intensive provided invaluable information about all aspects of becoming an educator.

How would you describe the value of this class?
I think it was an incredible value considering how much time and effort was put into it for us. For an all day intensive, it was very much worth it!

Why would you recommend Devyn Stone to others?
i would recommend Devyn because he has a wealth information that he is willing to share with others. It was great hearing his opinions and about his experiences. He just seems really "real" and like he's sharing his genuine self with us, which is refreshing and I appreciate that. The information in the intensive was presented to us in a format that I liked and almost conversationally. It didn't seem like he was reading from a script or using verbiage or phraseology that he wouldn't use on a daily basis. Sometimes I am off-put by classes where I can't really connect with the educator, but didn't have a problem here. I think what I feel I appreciated the most was the honesty I perceived from him. Between what he was sharing with teaching us and his experiences, it made me feel I could trust him as an educator and person. The brutal honesty and transparency were very much valued.
